Akinwunmi Ambode who is the Governor of Lagos State is seen in new pictures has he becomes a patron of the Lagos state scout council.

He wrote:

"With all sense of humility, I accept the honour bestowed on me as the patron of the Lagos State Scout Council, a leading voluntary organization established to inculcate virtues of discipline, leadership and community service in our youths."

"Voluntary Youth Organisations such as the Boys Scouts, Girls Guide, Brigade – Boys and Girls, Sheriff Guard, Red Cross and others whose programmes promote unity and peaceful co-existence are critical to the survival, growth and development of our nation."

Fayose Smiling On Arrival At Lagos Court For His Bail Hearing

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday morning arraigned the immediate-past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, for his bail hearing following alleged fraud of N2.2bn. Fayose was earlier arraigned before the Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday, six days after he completed his tenure as governor. He was taken to court from the custody of the EFCC where he had been detained for questioning after he voluntarily submitted himself on Tuesday, October 16. Fayose was brought to the court premises in a white EFCC bus, accompanied by security operatives. He was immediately taken into the courtroom presided over by Justice Mojisola Olatoregun. Justice Olatoregun granted Agabi’s prayer, ordered that Fayose should be remanded in the custody of the EFCC and adjourned till Wednesday, October 24 (today), for the hearing of the bail application.
