SANWO-OLU ON ‘THANK YOU’ VISIT TO LAGOS EAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT, REITERATES COMMITMENT TO INCLUSIVE GOVERNMENT
The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on Friday continued his tour of the three senatorial districts in the State with a visit to Lagos East. The thank you visit was put together by the Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Organization to show appreciation to the leadership and members of the party who voted for him during the recent primary election in the State.
The tour, which took off in Lagos Central senatorial district on Thursday had all the leaders as well as members of the APC in the Lagos East Senatorial district in attendance.
Speaking on the reason for the visit, the Director General of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Organization, Mr. Tayo Ayinde said the Sanwo-Olu team was at the Senatorial district to thank everyone for coming out in large numbers to cast their ballots in support of Babajide Sanwo-olu’s governorship aspiration. He said their love and support, which were shown adequately before, during and after the primary election will not be taken for granted.
Ayinde further stressed the need for a united front as the party goes into the general election against other political parties in February 2019. He promised that the campaign team will work with all the party leaders in order to bring into the campaign fold, all those who are aggrieved as a result of the House
